As the fourth Pastor to serve the Edgewood Baptist Church since 2008, he served that congregation until February 2020. In December 2019, with much prayer, Pastor Grayton accepted the call to become the fifth pastor of Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Temple Hills, MD.
Pastor Grayton has been married since July 1992 to the beautiful Minister Talita Grayton. Their marriage union has been the substratum that undergirds the ministry of Pastor Grayton. They have three children; Tionna (Derrick), Courtney, and Frankey II. (Makiyah) They also have three grandsons, Dawayne, Dyson and Dawson.
Pastor Grayton aims to aid God’s people in reaching their full potential in Christ as it is written in II Timothy 2:2. In order to minister to God’s people most effectively, Pastor Grayton utilizes a combination of exegesis and exposition, with contemporary applications. His desire is to continue to build God’s Kingdom by discipling God’s people.
Pastor Grayton entered into position as Pastor of Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on May 1, 2020 and succeeds Dr. Welton Fields, Jr. who retired from SFMBC on April 30, 2020.
